The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization, partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations. Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are a wonderful opportunity to share the Gospel around the world. Join us by donating a shoebox filled with gifts that will be delivered to a child in the name of Jesus Christ. Your participation ensures that children will receive a special gift, hear the Good News of Jesus, and be connected to a local church in their community. Since 1993, more than 209 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox.
Help us bring joy to children worldwide through this simple act of giving. We have two ways to participate this year.
- Our Kids! Ministry will have a grade-level contest in their Sunday morning small groups to see which grade can collect the most shoeboxes by November 23.
- OR you can pick up an empty shoebox from the OCC table in the foyer and fill it with the items suggested.
Drop off your filled shoebox to your child's graded classroom or the Celebration Room before the November 23 worship service.
